| Horseshoe Curve-1966. Here is an original photo that I took at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, in May of 1966. Shown here are four unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad diesel-electric locomotives ~ the first one built by ALCO, the other three by GM-EMD ~ rounding the Curve with a mail & express train on its way up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West.
