Santa Fe 3019 was built in July 1952 as road number 2819 (1st), it was almost immediately renumbered to 3019 to make room for second 2819, a GP7 built in December 1952, and was retired around March 1969 and traded to GE as credit for new power. Union Pacific GP9 238 was built in January 1954 (c/n 19124) on EMD Order 5320, was retired in August 1978, sold to Precision National (Mount Vernon, Illinois) in November 1978, sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal (Newark, New Jersey) in April 1979. |
