Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Bay Head Junction, New Jersey, c. 1956. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3751, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during April of 1920 and retired in November of 1957 after 37 years of faithful service. The road numbers of the other locomotives pictured here are not recorded. |
