| North Platt, Nebraska, June 18, 2022, 10:20 a.m. East yard 1: The main rail lines run east and west through the center of Bailey Yard. On the south side of the main lines is the eastbound service area, and westbound trains are serviced on the north side of the yard. The Golden Spike Tower is located on the southeast corner of the yard. In this photo the east sand tower is on the left side. Just to the right of the tower is the east hump yard. In the center is the east service area where locomotives are refueled and serviced during trips. |
