CN 4-8-2 #6062         
A note on the back of the photo identifies this as Train #83. Affectionate nickname for this class was "Bullet Nose Bettys" due to their distinctive cone shaped smokebox door cover. This loco was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in October of 1944 and served the CN unitl retirement and scrapping in August of 1961. Specs - serial #72759, class U-1-f, 73" drivers, impressive 260 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 365,700 lb, tractive effort of 52,313 lb. W. H. N. Rossiter photo
