Portraits 2. Here is a diesel locomotive portrait via Ralph H. Payne that was taken in Coshocton, Ohio, on 4 August 1949. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9318, a GS-4 switcher built by General Electric in April of 1949, rated at 380 horsepower, and retired in August of 1962 after just 13 years of revenue service. The names of the two railroaders pictured here, as well as the number of the N-6B cabin car at the far left, are not recorded. (#27 of 30)
