Portraits 5. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Harold K. Vollrath that was taken in Columbus, Ohio, in April of 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2490, a B-8A (0-6-0T) switcher built in Juniata as a B-8 (0-6-0) during 1904, rebuilt as a B-8A (0-6-0T) in April of 1928, reverted to a B-8 (0-6-0) in May of 1942, and retired in May of 1946 after 42 years of faithful service.
