Kern. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 23 August 1953. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7098, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company during June of 1913 and retired in August of 1954 after 41 years of faithful service.
