| One of the roads that ultimately wound up, partly, since some of it, the ex GM&O main in Illinois, went to UP, was Gateway Western, which was a successor to Chicago, Missouri & Western, which had taken over the ex GM&O after ICG spun it off in the 1980s. Some of the rolling stock is still kicking around, though there isnt much left at this time. This ex GWWR gon was spotted on the team track in Siloam Springs, in MOW service. |
