Here is the front side of a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania No. 5244." Photo by Mr. David Plowden. No Postmark. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5244, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during February of 1916 and retired on 15 July 1959 after 43 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a northbound freight train across the Union Transportation Company's Lahaway Creek Trestle near Hornerstown, New Jersey.
