Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Middletown, New Jersey, on 24 December 1945. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1286, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during January of 1916 and retired in September of 1952 after 36 years of faithful service. Raymond C.
