Here is page seven of a 15-page cover article by Frederick Westing entitled "This Is The Story Of A Pacific ~ The World's Greatest." It was published originally in the August 1956 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 50. Photo Caption: "Tussle of the Titans: Roaring east from Englewood, Il., K4-powered 'Broadway' challenges Hudson-propelled 'Century' on eve of streamlining, diesels." On the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5354, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1924. On the right is the New York Central's "20th Century Limited." Place your bets!
