Tom Beckett General Don't know whose train that might be. 1975 was an off year in New York, as the year prior to a presidential election always is. The governor is elected at the midterm of the presidential cycle, so that election would have been in 1974. Hugh Carey won over Malcolm Wilson that year. Wilson had assumed the office after Nelson Rockefeller was tapped by Gerald Ford to be VP after Ford succeeded to the presidency in the wake of Richard Nixon's departure. It was way too early for a primary campaign in the 1976 election, since the NY primary would not be til the following June. Special election, maybe?? 2/25/2017 3:12:03 AM
chris williams General My pictures are in storage. When I have access to them - it may be a year from now - I may be able to better figure out when that was actually taken. 2/25/2017 11:18:04 AM
