A view looking toward Appleton, if one were to follow the tracks, of the former CNW yard used to serve two large paper mills and some smaller businesses. In the modern Wisconsin Central era, there were a couple turns ran down here from Neenah and a switch crew stationed here. The CN works the line out of Appleton, from what I gather, and usually only once per day. The traffic base here was cut significantly when the former Kimberly Clark mill in Kimberly was closed. |
