| An eastbound Southern Railway transfer run with GP7 8220 was meeting an SCL-L&N-SP run-through train on the Southern at East City Junction. Once the transfer run had passed, the westbound train would cross over onto the eastbound track and continue on to the Huey P. Long Bridge and the Espee's Avondale Yard. The run-through train is on its way from Jacksonville to Houston, and has SCL GP40 1546, SCL U36B 1813, SP U25B 6753 and GP35 6602 for power. (approximate month and day) |
