CB&Q 4-6-0 Class K-4 900         
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-6-0 Class K-4 900, date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 900 was built the CB&Q at Havelock, Nebraska in 1900 as Burlington & Missouri River 1, renumbered in 1904 to CB&Q 700 and classed K-4, renumbered again in 1951 to CB&Q 900 to avoid confusion with the diesels. The chosen location (Creston, Iowa) and date (February 1, 1952) based on the CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet dated February 1, 1952.
