| After delivering a train to Dublin the power is spending the weekend in the yard before the work week begins on Monday. FWWR 2008 was originally delivered to Chicago & Northwestern as GP50 5081 in July 1980. After a long career with CNW, 5081 was retired as 5544 wearing full Union Pacific colors and sold to First Union. This GP50 was fortunate enough to escape the scrappers torch and found a home with FWWR now sporting a bell under the frame and recently installed cab air conditioning. It seems 2008 was involved in a scuffle and took one to the fuel tank. |
