41T at Johnson  Contributor's Pick!
This location used to be known as West BD. Its where the former Lackawanna main swung over to join the Erie after the consolidation of facilities in 1959, with the DLW abandoning most of its line from here to Corning. Much of that right of way became NY 17. Here 41T rolls west off the DLW onto the Erie, having come off the CP at BD, and past the DLW passenger station on what is now the Johnson Running track. The track in the foreground is all that remains of the DLW here, now the Vestal Spur.
