ACN Juniata Terminal Action, 1913
ACN. Here is an image of a photo that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1913. Shown here is a three-car passenger train poised to depart the Juniata Terminal of the narrow-gauge Altoona, Clearfield, & Northern Railroad ~ the "Wopsy Railroad." The tall smokestack and large building in the background belong to the Pennsylvania Railroad's Juniata Shops. The creek in the foreground is actually part of the headwaters of the Little Juniata River. Photo Credit: Altoona Pennsylvania History.
