You will not all the wooden slats are out of the semi-circular portion between the two power houses. The concrete on which the steel work rests was the top of the dam until it was raised in 1931. Check this link out for c. 1925 view. http://www.lynchburghistory.com/details.php?gid=&sgid=&pid=9185
