| Chicago Burlington & Quincy railroad GP30 962 westbound at Naperville, Illinois on January 28, 1966, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in July 1962 (c/n 27173) on EMD Order 7621, it became BN 2239 and was retired in August 1982. It would appear that the numberboard on the fireman's side has been replaced. The font is wider and does not match the style on the engineer's side, and it looks like the letter Z has been pressed into service as the number 2. |
