| Class 16000 electric locomotive #16028 originally constructed in 1958 was rebuilt in 1961, as high-power 1.5+25-kV Prototype (for Class 25100/25200). 3290kW under 1.5kV. it was tested on the Paris-Vallorbe/Savoie line. Re-built to original as BB #16028 in 1975. The last of this class of locomotive was taken out of service in 2010. #16028 is seen here with a local train at the Gare Du Nord station. |
