Cabooses Still Earning Their Keep
Title:  Cabooses Still Earning Their Keep
Description:  Two ancient "crummies" are parked on a yard track in BNSFs Interbay Yard. The old cabooses were originally built by International Car Co. of Ohio, and are now used as shoving platforms for the hump yard. The car with BNSF "Swoosh: patch , BN 12603, was originally built for the Great Northern in 1967 as their X108. 55 years and two mergers later, the car is still operating on Great Northern rails.
