Description:
TPPX 70115 was part of the consist of a CN local crossing Towmen Rd. as it crossed over from the former SOO main line to the former C&NW main line at Shawano Junction, WI on 14 Jan. '17. Shawano Junction is in Fox Crossing, WI (formerly Town of Menasha, WI until 14 Apr. '16). This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW main line through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails. Train was headed for Appleton, Little Chute, and Kaukauna. The former SOO main line is in the foreground.
