Album Info:
Here are two rare photos of Nashville, Chattanooga & St Louis steam locomotives. The photos have been scanned and cleaned up to bring out some of the details. Not much information came with the photos so I would appreciate any you might have.

NCSL 2-8-2 #662, Nashville, Chattanooga, & St. Louis RR
Description:
This 1922 Baldwin class L2A-55 Mikado type locomotive also has the Vanderbilt style tender. This rugged loco had 63" drivers and developed a respectable boiler pressure of 200 psi. After serving as major freight haulers during WWII, they finished their days as pushers in the Cumberland Mountains.

NCSL 2-8-0 #404, Nashville, Chattanooga, & St. Louis RR
Description:
This 1906 Baldwin class H7A-37 Consolidation type loco with its Vanderbilt tender had unusual size 55.63" drivers and developed a respectable 200 psi boiler pressure. Unfortunately, no location, date or photographer was listed for this photo but the front of the photo is stamped "September 1949".
