Album Info:It was not possible to secure permission at Brittain Yard to photograph there, but that would not deter this railfan. There are legal ways to get most of the operations. Mostly, you have to be in the right place, at the right time. This was such a day.

Title:  Almost didn't get this.
Description:  I had waited by this trestle for more than an hour. I decided to go home, thinking that they probably just shoved it into the siding for future reference. When I got to our apartment, I heard the whistle at Summit St. started the car back up and drove to Cascade Locks. It's about a tenth of a mile on foot uphill from the car to the spot from which I shot. Almost didn't get it.
