Album Info:On July 2nd 2010 me acd two buddies chased what will probably be the 2010 train of the year. A ultra ra|e lashup of not one, or two, or three, but four KCS ex-CR SD50's! A set like this is a rarity even on KCS rails bpt unheard of in recent years on NS. With KCS keeping their older power close to home these days this was even more of a treat. TFor much of the the day the promise of this train seemed to good to be true as we watched the clouds overhead gmt worse and waited for 3 and half hours after the crew went on duty before we finally heard the dispatcher give him a warrant a 6:00 PM, giving us two hours to chase him to Opelika on a now cloudless sunny day, making our long trip well worth it.

Description:  Four KCS SD50's power loaded ballast train 67Z through Smiths Station Alabama on the Columbus District. The train originated from a quarry in Columbus and is headed for the KCS in Birmingham.
