Description:  8.12.2022 Mechums River, VA. BB #17 GP38-2 BD 10/73, BN 72745-32. Built as SR 5090. #17 is leading the recently inaugurated dinner train Blue Ridge Flyer. Here, 17 is heading westward returning to Staunton after a run-a-round move at Ivy (Westvaco). I even got a hearty wave from the friendly engineer whom I had met the previous week when I rode on the inaugural run.
